`
The morning breaks, a new day dawns.
The sunbeams caress the seas.
Dewdrops caress each lovely flower,
The winds caress the leaves.
The robin sings so cheerfully,
The sparrow flies so high.
The wonder of nature all in tune
To a melody of the sky.
`
Many times I've seen it all,
And felt it deep in my heart.
Here God in all his glory shown,
And I was then a part.
But all that seems so long ago,
The years have passed me by.
Oh how I long for nature's song,
The melody of the sky.
`
Could it have changed as time passed by
Hid from all who cared?
Please show me God, the way again,
That melody to be shared.
For my heart is lonely, longing too,
Before life passes by,
To hear once more and share with you
The melody of the sky.
`
As I walked close to you,
There seemed so far away
A melody from years passed by
That song from nature's play.
Then again I turned to you, my dear,
Before you passed me by.
And once again in glory heard
The melody from the sky.
`
Then the sun caressed a newborn love
As it came shining through,
And caressed an angel, dear
The first time I kissed you.
Then together, hand in hand, we walked
Our hearts were beating high,
For together we would always share
The melody of the sky.
